What HisaabAI provides

HisaabAI is a cloud-based business management platform for Indian retail shops. It provides tools for inventory tracking, POS billing, purchases, expenses, excise compliance summaries, and AI-powered insights. We operate on a best-effort basis — we aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

HisaabAI is a record-keeping and reporting aid. It is not a substitute for filing official returns with the State Excise Department or any other regulatory authority. You are responsible for the accuracy of your filings.

Account and plan limits

• The Free plan supports 1 shop
• The Starter plan supports 1 shop with unlimited products, excise reporting, and indent tools
• The Professional plan supports 1 shop and includes the AI features, as described on the pricing page
• The Enterprise plan supports any number of shops and is billed per shop per month, subject to a two-shop minimum. The number of shops on your account at the time of renewal is what is billed; adding a shop mid-period does not change the amount already paid.
• Plan limits are enforced automatically. Exceeding them requires an upgrade.

Fees, payment and refunds

• Every new shop begins with a 30-day free trial of the full product. No payment is required to start.
• Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose — one month or twelve months. Prices are shown on the pricing page and are in Indian Rupees.
• Payment is made by UPI to HisaabAI. There is no auto-debit or standing instruction: nothing is ever taken from your account without you approving that specific payment in your own UPI app.
• After paying, you report the transaction reference (UTR) in the app. Your plan is extended once we have confirmed the payment with our bank, normally within one working day.
• When a plan expires, a grace period applies before any feature is paused. Billing, sales entry and your existing records remain available — we do not lock you out of your own data for non-payment.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where a payment was taken in error or duplicated, in which case we will refund the excess to the account it came from.
• You may stop using HisaabAI at any time by simply not renewing. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
• Prices are exclusive of any taxes that may become applicable; where a tax applies, it will be stated separately.

Demo accounts

The demo account (demo@hisaabai.in) provides access to a pre-populated sample shop for evaluation purposes. Demo data is not a real business record and should not be relied upon for any compliance, tax, or legal purpose. We may reset demo data periodically.

Acceptable use

By using HisaabAI you agree not to:

• Enter false or fraudulent records to misrepresent your business to regulators
• Share your account credentials with people outside your business
• Attempt to access another shop's data or reverse-engineer the platform
• Use automated scripts to abuse AI features or generate excessive API calls

Termination

You can stop using HisaabAI and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, generate abusive API usage, or are inactive for more than 12 months on a free plan.

No warranty

HisaabAI is provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for loss of data, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Assam, India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
